Affordable Housing for All

Australian Indigenous people and other groups like sole parents, long-term unemployed and people with disabilities are facing severe housing problems. The homelessness of Indigenous Australians is about four times higher in comparison with other Australians. The government can solve these problems by establishing affordable housing bonds to provide private investors with a guaranteed rate of return and also provide low-cost housing and related infrastructure development.
