Abstract

Among the insecticides tested, fipronil 5% SC @ 50 g a.i. ha−1 and fipronil 80% WG @ 50 g a.i. ha−1 were effective in managing leafhopper with a population reduction of 70.9% and 67.6%, respectively at 10 days after treatment. Next best treatments were diafenthiuron 50% WP @ 375 g a.i. ha−1 and buprofezin 25% SC @150 g a.i. ha−1 followed by acephate 75 SP @ 750 g a.i./ha and imidacloprid 70% WG @ 21 g a.i/ha.
