Abstract

Diferentes trabajos utilizan dos nombres distintos para denominar a la ranita meridional: Hyla meridionalis Boettger, 1874 e Hyla meridionalis (Boettger, 1874). La segunda forma es incorrecta pues el nombre del autor no deberia escribirse con parentesis ya que la especie fue incluida originalmente en el genero Hyla.
