The initial phase of this study was concerned with the agglutinated assemblage by anan, 2005. This paper describes forty four species belonging to 25 genera of the Middle­Late Eocene benthic foraminifera of suborder Lagenina from Mazyad Member of the Dammam Formation at the eastern limb of Jabal Hafit, Al Ain area, United Arab Emirates and illustrates 15 of them. Two out of these illustrated species are described as new : Laevidentalina salimi n. sp. and Marginulinopsis karimae n. sp. The paleogeography, paleoclimatology and stratigraphic distribution of the recorded taxa around the world are presented and discussed.
