Ethnographical reflections on an experience in Massawa, Eritrea

The following work seeks to explain through field notes the role of the researcher in the ethnographic process of collecting and interpreting information and, at the same time, describing results that emerged during the process of participant observation and individual interviews made with Eritrean women (African) in the context of an ONG. In the emerging results a) the emergency of the diverse subjectivities between the researcher and informants, the authority of the ethnography, the representation of the “other”, as well as the question of the construction of the identities of the Eritrean women.
