A study on the difficulties of teaching in physical education (Part I): Focusing on the difference of the difficulties according to teaching experiences

The purpose of this paper is to grasp actual situation that what kinds of difficulties primary school teachers have in physical classes according to their teaching experiences. We performed inventory survey for 348 primary school teachers. The investigation objects were divided into four groups according to two attributes which were consisted of the curriculum coordinator of physical education and those who study about physical As a result, it was suggested these three following points. 1. The items in relation to the fundamental of physical class showed a low ratio on difficulties of teaching physical education. 2. The items in relation to the condition of contents of physical class showed a high ratio on difficulties of teaching physical education. 3. It was guessed that primary school teachers who had few opportunities to participate in physical teaching, like women teacher, would have more difficulties. KeyWord.
