Development and Validation of Spectrophotometric Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Rabeprazole and Domperidone in Pure and Tablet Dosage Form

Abstract

The method for the simultaneous estimation of Rabeprazole and Domperidone in combined tablet dosage form have been developed, based on absorbance ratio method at two selected wavelengths 280.0 nm (Iso-absorptive point) and 291.0nm (λmax of Rabeprazole). The linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 5-25 µg/ml and 5-25 µg/ml for Rabeprazole and Domperidone, respectively. These methods are simple, accurate and results of analysis have been validated statistically and by recovery studies.
