Abstract

The article is devoted to the understanding of the role of Civic education and to the process of civic education itself in the democratic societies: the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK of Great Britain at the time of social and economical transformation. The special attention is given to the contribution of education to the process of social involvement, development of citizens' civic disposition.
