Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of myofascial trigger points pressure release versus exercises therapy in chronic cervical myofascial pain dysfunction syndrome. It was found that each of the pain intensity, the neck disability index, and the range of motion of active neck side bending were more significantly improved in the group of myofascial trigger points pressure release. Three treatment sessions of myofascial trigger points pressure release are enough, while at least three sessions of exercises are necessary; for the treatment of chronic
