Abstract
SUMMARY Lime induced chlorosis is a serious problem with avocado grown on calcareous soils in Cyprus. Five Fe sources at three levels each were used for solving the problem. Sequestrene 138 at all three rates was the most effective for the control of Fe chlorosis. Trees treated with Sequestrene 138 recovered completely from any symptoms of chlorosis and both growth and yield were higher than with other treatments and the control.
