Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for determination of imperatorin and isoimperatorin in Radix Angelicae dahuricae.METHODS The method was chromatographed on petruim C 18 column(5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm) and the mobile phase was methanol-water (70∶30).Imperatorin and isoimperatorin were detected at 254 nm.RESULTS The standard curve was linear within the concentration range of 0.974-3.869 mg imperatorin and 0.360-2.640 mg isoimperatorin, respectively. The precision was 2.85%( n =5).The recovery was 99.59% imperatorin and 98.14% isoimperatorin, respectively.CONCLUSION This method is rapid, reproducible and accurate. It could be used for quality control for Angelila dehurica as a commodity.
