Abstract

Based on the fact that orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is the transmission technique used in many wireless communication systems, the synchronization block plays a key role in the overall system performance among the receiving blocks, and for this reason we describe it in detail here. In this paper, we design the synchronization scheme required for OFDM system which includes frame synchronization, fine timing synchronization, integer frequency synchronization and fine frequency offset synchronization. Simulations and operation results confirm the superiority of the proposed method.
