Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel timing synchronization method for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Conventional OFDM timing synchronization methods require their uniquely designed preamble structures to improve the accuracy of timing synchronization. However, proposed method can be used to most OFDM systems independently of their preamble structures.
