Abstract
An informal learning is necessary for attraction of children and youth interest in science and technology. It also increases their inner motivation and solidifies their knowledge and skill. An informal learning is closely associated with a formal learning at schools. A science centre is an organization, which is aimed at informal ways of learning - exhibitions, science shows, workshops, competitions etc. There are already some ways of informal learning used in Czech Republic. An informal learning allows everybody feel and personally experience the pleasure of finding things out (1).
