Abstract
Objective To compare and assess the methods for detection of enterovirus.Methods The methods of RT -PCR and real time PCR for detection of enterovirus from feces of patients were used and the results of detective experiments were analyzed by SPSS software.Results In the detection of enterovirus 71 and CoxA16,the results obtained by using the RT-CR and real time PCR were consistent and real time PCR was more sensitive than PCR.The difference between the two methods was not significant,and strong coincidence was observed in the two methods.But for enterovirus,the difference between the two methods was significant.Conclusion Detection of enterovirus 71 and CoxA16 from clinical samples with RT -PCR and real time PCR methods are stable and reliable,but real time PCR method is more sensitive than RT-PCR and it can also minimize cross contaminations in the laboratory.But the real time PCR method shoud be improved for detection of enterovirus.
