Abstract
In this paper, a complementary innovation diffusion model was constructed from the perspective of communication and learning between enterprises in interfirm networks. The internal mechanism in the diffusion of innovation are being discussed first .Then the paper analysis the equilibrium points of this model and its stability and economic significance .Finally, the factors impact of interfirm networks innovation diffusion are being discussed. Our analysis shows the complementary relationship between innovations has significant influence on innovation diffusion, and the learning ability of enterprises exerts significant influence on speed of innovation diffusion. The model can be used for inquiring the innovation diffusion when the networks exist two kinds of innovations which can complement each other, and providing a reference proposal for the enterprises in the networks.
