Abstract
Recent experiments show that, as a rule, vircator efficiency is several percent. Experiments with a vircator triode carried out in the S-band show that it is possible to generate gigawatt level power with an efficiency up to 12%, whereas for low power levels the efficiency can reach up to 30% This report presents results of the microwave radiation generation for a vircator triode.
