Abstract
Schema matching, the problem of finding semantic correspondences between elements of two schemas, plays a key role in many applications. Currently, schema matching is largely performed manually by domain experts, thus a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. In this paper, an improved schema matching algorithm is proposed based on Similarity Flooding (SF for short) algorithm, which is an optimized and improved algorithm. It adds a pretreatment, so that the calculation of previous algorithm is decreased greatly, the efficiency and precision of schema matching is enhanced, and implement the semi-automatization of maintenance and management after publishing XML views.
