Abstract
For a voltage-feedback amplifier in which the open-loop gain will be much greater than the closed-loop gain, it is possible to calculate values of the feedback resistors that will maximize the open-loop gain. This paper presents the derivation and compares the results to a series of PSPICE simulations. Agreement is found to be excellent.
