Abstract

The block diagram method is widely used to analyze the negative feedback amplifier at present. But because different configurations need to use different treatments, it is difficult to calculate the gain of a negative feedback amplifier. A new method to calculate the gain of a negative feedback amplifier is introduced in this paper. First, calculate the loop gain directly from the circuit. Second, obtain the gain of amplifier utilizing feedback coefficient. Last, calculate the input and output resistance. The advantage of this method is simpler for calculating the gain of a negative feedback amplifier.
