Abstract

More and more public administration and management scholars have referred to the “new governance” and argue that the focus of the study of public administration today should be on governance, rather than government. The research discusses what is governance and how governance terminology changes the research focus of public administration. It highlights what is encompassed on the study of governance and how it has or has not changed the field of public administration.   Key words: Governance, government, public administration.
