Abstract

This paper studied evolution and present status of soil erosion in west Henan province's loess hilly areas on basis of analysis of physical geographical conditions with comparison methodology by GIS technique, furthermore analyzed causes and harmfulness on social and economical development in this region, thereby, the measures of soil and water conservation have been proposed.
