Abstract
This paper introduces a developed intelligent CAD system for electromagnetic relay - the integrated CAD expert system for electromagnetic relay, in which traditional CAD technology and expert system technology are combined organically. The CAD expert system integrates relay design expert system, relay characteristic analysis system, 3D (three-dimensional) mechanical CAD system, relay optimization design system and finite element analysis system etc functional modules, also the data are transferred seamlessly between all functional modules.
