Abstract

Psigida walkeri (Grote) and its immature stages.(Lepidoptera, Saturniid ae, Ceratocampinae).The biology and immature stages of Psigida walkeri (Grate) are described for the tirst time.Development is rapid with only 35 days trom egg to adult.The larva te ed on Calliandra parviflora Benth.(Leguminosae-Mimosoideae), its natural host plan!.Egg, lalval instars, pupa and adults are illustrated in color.KEY WORDS.Brazil,
