Abstract
A number of reports in the literature' are concerned with exchange reactions between aminopolycarboxylate (A) complexes of trivalent lanthanide (Ln) ions and free metal ions (M) of the type: In most cases ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) or trans-l,2,-diaminocyclohexanetetraacetate (DCTA) were used as multidentate ligands.
