Abstract

The authors report on the selection and use of several computer systems at Louisiana Tech University. They describe the purchase decision, installation, and subsequent use of a Sun network, an HP network, a PS/2 LAN (local area network), a Macintosh network, and a PC Novell network. Operating systems (DOS, Multifinder, and Unix) and software application programs are discussed.>
