Abstract
In web environments, data might be integrated form remote, distributed, autonomous and heterogeneous data sources into a central data collection. The heterogeneity of data sources has two aspects, model heterogeneity and schema heterogeneity. This paper investigates an architecture of data integration, presents data integration processes, and discusses data integration approaches in web environments.
