The Key Technologies of Heterogeneous Data Integration System Based on Ontology

The explosion of the Internet in recent years has caused the need of the association between different industries and branches to achieve communication and information sharing. However various heterogeneities exist between different data sources, especially semantic heterogeneities because the same data was modeled by different users in different ways. This paper mainly imported the concept of ontology to realize the integration of heterogeneous data. Utilization of ontology did well in solving the problem of semantic heterogeneity of data integration. This paper introduced the concept of ontology and the process of ontology integration, and emphasis studied on the main body data integration in mapping and the Query technology.
