Abstract

The synthesis and characterization of several new ionic liquid derivatives containing dithiocarbamate, i.e., 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐N,N‐diethyldithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐ imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5a, 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐N,N‐dibutyldithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5b, 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐N,N‐dioctyldithio‐ carbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5c, 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐N,N‐diphenyl‐dithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5d, 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐morpholinedithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5e, 3‐methyl‐ 1‐[3‐pyridinedithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5f, and 3‐methyl‐1‐[3‐imidazoledithiocarbamate‐propyl]‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate 5g, are described.
