Abstract

A computer-controlled three-dimensional flow measurement system using a hemispherical five-hole Pitot probe in conjunction with a multi-tube twin-wire resistance probe manometer was derived. The system is capable of performing a measurement in 2.5 seconds. Application of such a system was demonstrated through the measurement of the vortex flow behind a model delta wing.
