Abstract
A comprehensive review of the available SE measurement techniques has been made with particular reference to thermoplastic materials in sheet form as material under test in section II. Section III is dedicated to a review of the existing as well as the emerging techniques of imparting shielding behaviour to plastic materials. The parameters chosen were shielding capability, mechanical and electrical properties, and other properties relevant in selecting suitable measurement techniques for examining their shielding performance. In section IV the various SE test system characteristics and their applicability according to the sample behaviour are categorised.
