Abstract

Trifolium repens L. (wild white clover) is the most important pasture legume in many parts of temperate zones and is distributed widely in Canada, occurring in every province and both territories. It is also an agricultural escapee and is often continuous over large areas of roadsides and waste places, and is a common seed impurity in many seed mixtures. This account is a summary of the biological information on white clover.Key words: Trifolium repens, white clover
