Abstract
In this study, the germination of Trifolium repens and Dichondra repens in response to different concentrations of Cd was studied. The results showed that the germination of Trifolium repens and Dichondra repens were promoted when Cd concentration was less than 5 mg/L,when Cd concentration was 10 mg/L,the germination percentage and vigor index of Trifolium repens decreased while Dichondra repens was higher than the control. With Cd concentration increasing, germination percentage and vigor index of two grasses decreased gradually.Compared with two grasses,Dichondra repens had a stronger tolerance to Cd than Trifolium repens.
