Abstract

The transverse mode of high power transverse flow CO2laser is simulated by solving the laser kinetics equations, using a one-dimension-current model, and according to the discharge filed and the gas flow in the resonator. The electrode configuration and gas flow are the primary factors which influence the laser transverse mode.
