The phase of the diurnal variation of cosmic-ray intensity occured on Dec. 23, 1957 is directed to the anisotropy near 6hr. in local time. After the investigation of similar five examples, it is concluded that these diurnal variations with inverse phase appear on the geomagnetically quiet days after the occurrence of Type IV solar radio outburst.
