Abstract
We present an improved and simplified method for vital staining of the corneal endothelium, which allows high-quality images that are excellent for morphological and morphometric studies. This method is based upon the combination of trypan blue and alizarin red S. The main advantages of this technique are simplicity, rapidity and low cost.
