Abstract
Abstract A novel light guide fully composed of reflective plate has been proposed as a light weight solution for backlight module of side edge type. Accompanying with the optical films used in existing backlight module, the uniformity of the prototype with a size of half 14” has shown the feasibility and potential for large screen application.
