YOLK SAC TUMOUR OF THE OVARY

Abstract

Summary Within the last two years we have seen four examples of a highly malignant neoplasm in young patients for which the name yolk sac tumour is recommended. We now describe the pathology and discuss the histogenesis of these tumours. The collection of information about them is impeded by the variety of names applied to them.
