The Renovation of Society and the Teacher's Political Culture

The social-political situation in the country is complex: the previous administrative-command system has been destroyed, it has been necessary to discard many ideological notions about the development of socialism, and the new mechanisms of social-economic relations are not yet functioning adequately. Over the decades an interpretation that is fundamentally false became widespread concerning Marxism-Leninism, the genuinely scientific theory of the social-historical process that is supposed to underlie our political science, the theory and history of the party. Even now, changes for the better are taking place very slowly: a braking mechanism is making itself felt in the social sciences.
