Abstract

The experiment was conducted during kharif of 2007 and 2008 to know the infestation of shoot and fruit borer, Earias vittella (Fab.) on okra c.v. Kashi Pragati (VRO -6). The minimum shoot damage on imidacloprid (5.0%) treated plot followed by neem leaf extract (25.5%), marigold leaf extract (28.5%) with highest damage on castor leaf extract treated (34.3) while minimum fruit damage on imidacloprid (4.9%) treated plot followed by neem leaf extract (25.1%), marigold leaf extract (31.3%) with highest damage on castor leaf extract treated plot (36.4%).
