Abstract
The acute 30-day median lethal dose in Hartley guinea pigs was determined for cobalt-60 gamma -irradiation. The median lethal dose was found to be 326 rads, Change in weight of the irradiated animals was recorded for a period of 30 days. Extravasation of blood into viscera and serous cavities was the most frequent finding at autopsy. (auth)
