Abstract
Manglietia rufisyncarpa (Magnoliaceae) is described and illustrated. M. rufisyncarpa resembles M. insignis , but is distinguished by its smaller, glabrous leaves, three green outer tepals and 6 white inner ones and the red gynoecium.
