Abstract
The CAN bus communication system based on SOC technology is proposed. A design framework of CAN controller IP core is introduced, and a complete CAN bus communication system is realized in a ALTERA Cyclone III type FPGA chip, which has a set of 51 SCM IP core, memory IP core, CAN controller IP core and controller software. Finally, both software simulation and hardware tests verify the correctness of this CAN bus communication system.
