Abstract

The author discusses multistage modulators, digital processing of pulse density modulation signals, algorithms, testing, modeling nonidealities and stability. Diagrams are given for: an N/sup th/ order sigma delta modulator, a multistage closed loop modulator, a first order digital sigma delta modulator, and a low pass digital comb filter.
