Abstract

Four new species of the genus Xiphinema are described and figured. X. clavatum n. sp., related to X. rotundatum Schuurmans Stekhoven and Teunissen, 1938 and X. yapoense Luc, 1958 is distinguished by a distinctly clavate tail. X. pini n. sp. and X. imitator n. sp. are closely related and belong in the group of species with more or less hemispherical tails. X. zulu n. sp. resembles X. nigeriense Luc, 1961.
