Evolvement and Characteristic of Urban Spatial Structure in Baotou

Baotou is an important industrial city developing during the modern times. Because of the effect of industrial layout, turban spatial structure has a different evolvement track and some special morphology characteristics from other cities. This paper analyses the evolvement of urban spatial structure in Baotou, and summarizes the city spatial structure characteristics, show that is the continuation of "Shuangcheng structure" model, extended along the traffic line, space structure based on industrial layout.
