Research on Beneficiation of a Copper Sulphide Ore in Yunnan

Abstract

The mineral processing technology of a copper ore was studied in this paper. In light of the characteristics of the ore, the experiment studied the process flow and reagent system two aspects and finally determined one roughing, one cleaning, a scavenging of flotation process and reasonable system of medicament. The results showed that for the raw ore with Cu grade of 1.0%, Cu concentrate with Cu grade of 14.62% and recovery of 88. 01% was obtained. The whole process is simple, low cost and can be widely used in industrial production.
