Observations of three central stars of planetary nebulae

R. H. Méndez, Virpi Sinikka Niemelä

Open publisher page 10 citations

Abstract

Spectrograms of the central stars of the planetary nebulae NGC 246, He 2-131, and He 2-138 are described. Variations have been found in the spectra of the first two stars. The central star of He 2-138 has a BC0 Ib spectrum; this is the first case of a low-mass star showing 'OBC' characteristics.
