Abstract

1553B bus is one kind of the familiar bus in aeronautical electrical system and the most electrical equipments can be measured through it. The 1553B bus can not compatible with other computer buses such as PCI bus. So it is necessary to transfer data between 1553B and PCI buses by using special conversion device to test electronic equipment by computers. In this system, the data transfers from 1553B bus to computer's PCI bus can be completed by one of the DSP chips: TMS320VC5402. The transfers have two parts mainly: one is from 1553B bus to DSP; another is from DSP to PCI bus. The communication board is connected with computer through the PCI interface of computer. The control logic is carried out by PCI bus control chip: PCI9052. The high-speed-transfers between DSP and PCI bus is controlled by program in CPLD. The control logic is carried out by PCI bus control chip: PCI9052.
