Abstract

Previous supply chain postponement strategy research mainly focused on the optimization of inventory and lead time based on the process of products in circulation. Product orders, as the key supply chain driving factors, which reflects the characteristics of products. Therefore, on the basis of summarizing the pre-existing research findings, the suitable postponement strategies are discussed according to different products and their different stage of life cycles. The discussion is based on the supply chain which is built around the manufacturer.
